Sanara is a complete mind, body, soul re-alignment. Allie recently received her double master’s in Counseling and her office is inside the Sanara space. She sees people in off-hours to help them cope and learn life skills to manage daily stress. When you combine yoga, breathing, meditation, and talk therapy… you have a strong combination for change. She loves watching people transform and receive the joy, happiness, and health that is waiting for them on the other side of their trial. It is from her own personal heartache and challenge that Sanara was born. Now it is a place of peace, forgiveness, love, and acceptance.

I came to yoga out of a need for balance, in my life and fitness.  Intrigued by the depth of the practice, I began a teacher training. I am certified through Blue Anjou’s Teacher Training, Yoga Bridge Yoga for Cancer Training and Breathing Deeply Yoga Therapy. My husband and I are recent empty nesters of two college boys and though I miss them, I am enjoying new found freedom to travel and have adventures…and a lower grocery bill! I teach restorative, gentle, hatha, yin, Kundalini and believe meditation is the cornerstone of yoga and incorporate meditation in every class I teach. I have found through self-study and a personal practice that yoga is exactly for me, and that yoga is for everybody.

Laura has been teaching yoga since 2002, and owned and operated Twisted Trunk Yoga, in SoHo, NY.  She teaches an aligned, flow style of hatha yoga, incorporating biomechanics, Ayurveda, and tantric philosophy. Her main objective when teaching is to allow space for each student to settle their nervous system, harness their power, and have a deeper experience of being in their own body. Laura is in awe of the elegance and intelligence of our humanness, and she remains curious about how to tap into the resource, wisdom, and potency we hold. Laura is also a AADP Certified Holistic Health Coach. Reach out to her for more information.

Kim fell in love with yoga in 2000, and began teaching yoga in 2004. She currently teaches vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative, and nidra. She has had the pleasure of teaching at gyms, yoga studios, corporations, private in-home instruction, private events, specialty classes for 501c groups, kid yoga, senior yoga, couples yoga, sports teams, and dance teams. She has had extensive experience working with people seeking their yoga certification and is the owner of Santosha School of Yoga, an accredited yoga teacher training program for those seeking their 500-hour designation.  As a student herself, she has earned two 200 YTTs and two 500 YTTs.  Additionally, she has had specialty training in trauma informed yoga as well as prenatal. Expect to be taken care of in Kim's classes.

Stephanie is an avid lover of all thing’s fitness.  She has been teaching yoga for 18 years & can’t imagine living life without it.  She believes that yoga is an amazing way to promote strength and flexibility not only in the body but also in the mind.  She loves teaching heated power yoga flows that encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone, to remind you to be playful and to be present in the moment.  You will see a sprinkle of arm balances and inversions in her classes as she loves the way that they build confidence and help you to see things from a different perspective.  She also loves teaching aerial parties and is a certified personal trainer.

Sami found her way onto the mat in 2003.  Overweight and out of shape, she saw the potential for her body and overall health after just one incredibly intense class.  Within a year she dropped 40 pounds, gained strength and energy, and began her lifelong journey of health and wellness. In 2004, Sami’s passion changed from physical to mental when she became her husband’s caretaker after he was the victim of a violent crime.  The benefits she gained in yoga, combined with the loving support of a yoga community, led her towards becoming a teacher. In 2005, Sami became certified as a Bikram Yoga teacher, trained by Bikram Choudhury in LA.  She also attended Sumits Hot Yoga training in 2017.  As a teacher, she will remind you that you are loved, and encourage you to “be here now” leaving all the worries, stresses, and concerns of life outside to “meet your body where you are”.

Staci specializes in sound baths. She uses gongs, singing bowls, drums, flutes, and other beautiful instruments to produce vibrations that help detox the body. Sound therapy aligns your body and helps quiet your mind, which allows your body to release emotional blockages that have been buried for days, months, or even years and helps you get your inner Zen back. You can find her classes via the workshop link.

As a Registered Nurse, my experience has given me a deep understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Through my work with patients experiencing chronic pain and undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, I have come to appreciate the importance of holistic approaches to health and wellness. This led me to explore the benefits of yoga, which I have found to be a powerful tool in reducing stress and promoting overall well-being. I personally incorporate yoga to improve mindfulness and achieve a more balanced and healthier lifestyle. I am convinced of the positive impact that yoga has on both physical and mental health. Claire is also certified in Aqua, Medicine Anatomy, Healthy Aging.

Susan fell in love with yoga while taking a class with a good friend in 2006. The friend and yoga are still in her life! Susan teaches a fun vinyasa or hatha class with energetic music, but just as naturally she will calm and soothe you toward the end of a class, leaving you feeling balanced and refreshed. She lives in a house full of animals, loves to cook and spend time with her husband and many children.

Jaime is a yoga teacher and dance instructor who teaches a fun and energizing class. She blends her skills to bring you an hour of mind and body connection like no other. She teaches a music centric class where you can let your hair down. Lights are off, students face away from the mirror and the class is not recorded. Soften and groove...we all need it.

Stephanie started her journey 15 years ago when she took her first yoga class and fell in love with the practice right away. In 2021 following her friend, she took the Sanara teacher training course and found out that she loved teaching yoga even more than taking a yoga class! She now teaches both in French and in English and enjoys gentle hatha and yin classes with an emphasis on breath work and meditation. She also leads some solstice, chair, and partner yoga workshops from time to time!

Cecilia started practicing yoga in 2015 after she moved to Texas. Being a native of Argentina, and having moved around many times, she struggled with a sense of not belonging to a particular place. Looking into ways of starting a new life, meeting friends and managing stress caused by a recent chronic illness diagnosis in her family, she found yoga. With time, and as she deepened into her practice and tried different yoga styles, her passion and curiosity grew more. She knew that there had to be more than the traditional “Asanas” that made yoga so special to her.  To find answers to her questions, she decided to get certified as a yoga instructor. Thanks to a friend she met along the way who led her to SANARA, together they completed their RTY 200 in April 2022. Cecilia now teaches a fun, dynamic, flowy and creative Hatha class every Sunday.

Alexandra has been practicing yoga since 2003, and she was initially drawn to yoga and meditation to help manage stress and to create a healthier mind-body connection.  Her life has been transformed in many ways through her yoga journey, and she believes the practice can be a powerful tool to dig deep within yourself and rediscover your true nature while working towards better health, mental clarity, and inner peace.  She completed her Vinyasa Flow 200 hr YTT certification in 2010 and has been teaching ever since. Alexandra loves sharing the practice and philosophy of yoga with her community and strives to inspire, encourage and teach others how they can tap into their own innate ability to flow through life with greater strength, ease and resilience.

Molly’s yoga journey began in 2018 to supplement years of endurance training as a runner. Having also begun yoga during one of the most difficult seasons in her life, Molly felt renewed peace and purpose through her practice and the yoga community and earned her RYT 200 in 2021. A cancer survivor, Molly is passionate about health and wellness and feels called to encourage others. You will feel her positive energy as she guides you to build heat and work toward your peak in postures. Outside of the studio, Molly serves as a counselor. She loves every aspect of a good workout and has a passion for instructing a challenging but FUN workout. She loves to help people feel strong physically and mentally as it goes hand in hand. Her education began shortly after college with a personal training certification, but it was having her daughter that changed everything! Her journey led her to FIT4MOM, an amazing fitness program for Moms. She got certified in prenatal & postpartum exercise and owned the Southlake & Keller Franchise for 13 years. Sunni lives in Southlake with her husband and 2 children. She shares a lifelong passion for sports and fitness and is now deeply committed to the practice of yoga.
