YIN

A healing yoga class focusing on the deep connective tissues. Muscle, fascia, tendons, and ligaments can all get locked in routine patterns of use and nonuse. Yin stretch stimulates healing by improving blood & lymph circulation, joint mobility, and flexibility.

A gentle, mat-based restoration for everyone.

VINYASA 1

A flow class. Learn how 'pranayama,' the intentional practice and application of breath supports ease and fluid movement. A moving meditation. Vinyasa calms and centers the mind by bringing focus to the breath in every posture.

 

Medium energy intensity for all practice levels.

SOUND

A therapeutic, sound class with live instrumentals. Integrating the use of gongs, drums, rattles, chimes, Tibetan bowls, and various other instruments, the meditative vibrations resonate deeply in body and mind.

VINYASA 2

Like Vinyasa 1 but double the sequences. 'Tapas,' Sanskrit word meaning 'burning enthusiasm,' is the feeling evoked in this creative flow class. Focus on repetition, strength, and cardio while cultivating new levels of self-discipline and accomplishment.

 

High energy intensity for beginner to moderate fitness levels.

TEENS

This class is an athletic stretching class for teens age 12-18. It will help with flexibility, range of motion, help prevent injury, mindfulness, and self-awareness.

H.I.I.T.

You will be guided through a intentional physical practice to tap into how you really feel, unpack your baggage, work on a specific personal aspiration, relieve accumulated stress, or gain momentum to drop a bad habit through an intense work out. The 60-minute session begins with a clear setting of intention and closes with a long savasana to seal in your work. Be ready to squat, jump, sweat and make some noise.

SWAN

Move, strengthen, and energize the entire body from head to toe through ballet movement without the use of a barre. This high energy class will create strong muscle memory around correct spinal posture, leaving your body feeling long, powerful, and confident.

 

No ballet experience required.

KUNDALINI

Kundalini Yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes increasing awareness, consciousnesses, energy and intuition through a systematic process of opening the energy centers, (chakras) in the body, illuminating the dark places in the mind and freeing the spirit. Brought to the west in 1969 by Bhajan, Kundalini yoga works from the inside out creating a peaceful, harmonious and transformed life. Expect movement, singing, chanting, and meditation that ranges from gentle to more challenging. Students are always encouraged to work at their own pace and experience the bliss for themselves as their own inner teacher.

HATHA

For increased flexibility and body awareness. {Ha Tha} the yoga of balance and unity, as a physical practice focuses on postural strength & alignment, light movement-stretching, and long-pause tension release. Intentional breathing is emphasized to balance and recalibrate all mental, emotional and physical processes.

An all-levels accessible yoga practice.

ATHLETIC RECOVERY

A mobility class for self-care and active-recovery days. Uses foam rollers, therapy balls, and stretch straps. Muscle and fascia release sequences and techniques restore range of motion and muscle fatigue.

ROPES

Rope Wall Yoga - Kurunta Yoga

 

Ropes are secured to the wall allowing for the yoga practitioner to go deeper in various poses as they are supported by the ropes. 

 

Ropes are an invaluable tool for students who are stiff, weak or unable to perform certain asanas independently. Students experience a greater opening of certain areas while still strengthening and toning their bodies. 

 

Rope Wall Yoga is a limitless resource to the yoga practitioner of any age, size or level of practice bringing a fresh perspective to understanding asanas, reaching places where a regular practice cannot take you, reaping the benefits of sustained asana, expanding your movement, and getting you hooked to the wonderful practice of Kurunta Yoga.
