Kundalini Yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes increasing awareness, consciousnesses, energy and intuition through a systematic process of opening the energy centers, (chakras) in the body, illuminating the dark places in the mind and freeing the spirit. Brought to the west in 1969 by Bhajan, Kundalini yoga works from the inside out creating a peaceful, harmonious and transformed life. Expect movement, singing, chanting, and meditation that ranges from gentle to more challenging. Students are always encouraged to work at their own pace and experience the bliss for themselves as their own inner teacher.
